JP Market Stats
The Fed just raised interest rates. Your guess regarding what happens in the spring market in 2024 is good. Home prices continued to rise through the first few months of 2024; however, we expect less buyer demand due to interest rate hikes. We continue to monitor the supply of inventory to see if there's a shift towards more of a buyer's market soon. Although the month's supply has been inching upwards since compared to 2023, it's still a seller's market, at least in the JP condo world. As for Cambridge condos, it's getting closer to a balanced market than last March. Our stats include single-family, condo, and multi-family homes.
